Founded in 1989, the Super Boat International Races are the largest and fastest offshore racing series in the world. Attracting numerous racers throughout the years, this annual race as seen some of the biggest names in entertainment — Don Johnson, Kurt Russell and Chuck Norris. This elite national and international racing course is rectangular shaped and is five miles in length where boats power through at speeds of up to 180 mph. With its massive fanbase and the most popular television production crews in tow, 2019’s Super Boat International Race is predicted to be the biggest year yet.  

With the Key West Bight Marina being one of the most sought after marinas in all of Key West, our marina fills up quickly during the holiday season and throughout the SBI racing series. Although the races are scheduled to compete on November 6th (Wednesday), November 8th (Friday) and the finals on November 10th (Sunday) there will be multiple social events and gatherings scheduled between November 3rd to November 10th. From the World’s Fast Boat Parade on Duval Street, merchandise tents, and a concert by Grammy-nominee Lee Brice on November 7th, you don’t want to miss the exciting action at the Key West Bight Marina.
