We recommend stopping by either Captain Quick Dry or Hammerhead Surf Shop as they are fully stocked in all your waterproof essentials. 

• Water Toys 

Inflatable paddleboards, waterskis, kneeboards, wakeboards, raft floats — OH MY! Don’t get us wrong, lounging around the sand bar with a drink in hand on an inflatable raft is fun but we also highly recommend also packing all things that a meant to go fast. The open waters surrounding the Key West Bight Marina make for the perfect aquatic playground with plenty of room to do whatever you want when it comes to entertaining on the water. Whether you feel like relaxing on an inflatable raft, throwing around a frisbee or kneeboarding, make sure to do your research to ensure you pack the perfect water toy for you and the crew. 

• Sunscreen, Sunscreen, and More Sunscreen 

Staying protected from the sun while on the water is an absolute must! There is nothing worse than waking up the next day with a painful sunburn. Stocking up on plenty of sunscreens and re-applying that sunscreen multiples times throughout the day is a great way to ensure you don’t wake up in pain the next day. There is nothing worse than being miles away from land with nothing to eat or drink. Having a fully stocked cooler on board is not only essential but with the Florida heat, it is crucial. Fully stocking your cooler not only prepares for a full day of boating but also ensures you will stay hydrated and alert for a fun day on the water. Stocking up on sandwiches, water, plenty of snacks and, of course, a few adult beverages are some go-to items any boater should bring onboard with them. Oh, and don’t forget to bring along a bottle opener!

• Extra Towels and Dry Clothing
