Key West Bight Marina Holiday Happenings

It’s the most wonderful time of the year down at the Key West Historic Seaport and Bight Marina, and we’re more excited than ever for the upcoming holiday events. On that note, check out the list (updated daily!) of great holiday happenings for people of all ages at the Key West Historic Seaport and Bight Marina:

First, join us for the lighting of the HarborWalk of Lights on Wednesday, November 24. Holiday music starts at 5:00pm with the lights coming on at 6:00pm! For the best views, you’ll want to go to the Harbor Walk plaza at Grene and Elizabeth Street. If this is your first year going to see the HarborWalk of Lights, some things (among many others!) that you can look forward to are the 20’ Fishing Buoy Tree, a 16’ Nautical Christmas Tree, and the original classic Key West Lobster Trap Tree (check out the Lobster Trap Tree in the video below!)

The Harbor Walk of Lights will come alive every evening at dusk, all the way through New Year’s Eve!

Friday, December 3 – Pet Pictures with Santa! From 6pm-8pm, check out FREE Pet Pictures with Santa hosted by The All Animal Clinic, with professional photos by Rob O’Neal. Located at the 16’ Nautical Christmas Tree at the foot of William Street on the Harbor Walk of Lights, get your four-legged family member(s) their holiday photos while supporting a great cause. All Santa pictures with pets and kids are only $20 dollars (cash only) and benefit the local Boys & Girls Club.

Saturday, December 4 – The City of Key West will host its Hometown Holiday Parade! Beginning at 7:00pm, the parade will start on Truman Avenue (at White Street), then proceed all the way down Duval Street and end at Eaton Street. This family-friendly, charming hometown parade features holiday floats, Key West’s special holiday spirit, and of course, a special guest appearance by Santa Claus, the big man himself!

Sunday, December 5 – After the Hometown Holiday Parade, get ready for the FREE Conch Republic Seafood “Holiday Classic Car Show” run by the Florida Keys Southernmost Car Club on Sunday, December 5 from 11:00am-3:00pm. Located at Conch Republic Seafood Company on Greene & Elizabeth Street, enjoy viewing cars from every era decked out for the holidays! You’ll also get to vote for the “Peoples Choice” Awards for the cars you love the most! Please remember to bring an unwrapped toy, which will be donated to the Monroe County Domestic Abuse Shelter.

**SPECIAL DEAL: Non-member cars may enter same day FREE with an unwrapped toy!*

Sunday, December 5 – Join us for the annual Tree Trimming Party at Schooner Wharf Bar and Galley. Free admission and starting at 6:00pm, there will be prizes for original ornaments plus complimentary holiday beverages!

Saturday, December 11 –  Schooner Wharf Bar & Galley and Absolute Vodka will host the 30th Annual Lighted Boat Parade all along the Harbor Walk of Lights. Music begins at 6:00pm, and the parade starts at 8:00pm. Make sure to register your boat at www.keywestchristmas.org or by calling 305-292-9520. Come early for live holiday music, dinner and drinks!

And finally, how does a special private holiday champagne party on Catamaran Echo sound?

December 1 – 31, 2021 – You can book a private 2-hour day sail or sunset holiday cruise! All ages welcome, and your purchase comes with a private chartered holiday party for up to 14 guests!
